MUSIC LEARNING AND PERFORMANCE
Jacky Leung is one of the most active young classical and pop Hong Kong-born saxophonists. He writes and composes many different varieties of music pieces for different schools, organizations and commercial corporations….
He completed his master degree as the first saxophonist under a full scholarship from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund (Local Studies).
Apart from giving various musical styles of performances in many institutes, events and radio broadcast around the world, Jacky also writes and composes many different varieties of music pieces for different schools, organizations and commercial corporations.
He likes to arrange the music performed by his chamber group ONLY ONE, which was founded in year 2016 by 6 most active and young musicians in Hong Kong. Their performing style is very diverse, ranging from classical, jazz to pop music.
In August, 2018, ONLY ONE expanded into ONLY ONE Jazz Orchestra (OOJO) and is the first jazz orchestra in Hong Kong featuring all local active musicians with high performing standard.
Apart from developing OOJO, Jacky also serves as the Music Director of Music Children Foundation, providing free music training including different music curriculum & chamber music experience to underprivileged children in Hong Kong.
